OMEGA 3 BASIC, Squared
OMEGA 3 BASIC® is such a good product to use in a confection of this sort. The consistency is great, and it is easy to work with, not to mention very forgiving. You can adjust for taste easily--a bit more liquid and add some cocoa, for example, and...no problem.
  • 1 cup mixed chopped dried fruit (suggestions: 1/2 cup each organic dried banana and pineapple from Donmar. It is wonderful dried fruit, especially the whole bananas.)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup orange juice, depending on the addition of optional cocoa
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup dense tahini or almond butter
  • 1/2 cup of OMEGA 3 BASIC®
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup cocoa (optional, with the addition of the extra orange juice)

Put all of the above ingredients in a food processor and blend until mixed well. Form into balls, or press into a flexible container and chill, then un-mold and cut into small squares. Dust with cocoa (optional). Enjoy!
